While it's the Forest Service that plans to mass spray glyphosate and other synthetic herbicides in the Tahoe Basin, the TRPA (Tahoe Regional Planning Agency) has review/approval authority over the Forest Service on this matter, as well as the power to implement a ban on synthetic herbicides in the Tahoe Basin. So TRPA is our community's #1 hope for stopping the USFS spray plan. But TRPA is unlikely to take action unless they hear from enough people.
